What happens when the 12 months are over?
Your plan converts to a regular paid Google AI Plus or Google AI Pro plan, and your payment method is charged the standard monthly price for your country until you cancel. Google says you will be notified ahead of the change, except where consent is required under applicable laws.

How do you cancel the Gemini student offer without losing anything?
To avoid the standard charge, you must cancel before the end of the offer period. Cancelling during the period may leave your membership active until it ends, so cancelling early does not necessarily cost you free months.
