This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be available for Free AI Perks subscriptions and advertising orders. It should be read together with our Terms of Service: https://getaiperks.com/en/terms
Plain-English summary (not legal advice)
- You are purchasing immediate access to digital information (Content), not credits.
- Because access is delivered instantly and the Content is consumable, purchases are generally non-refundable.
- We offer a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee for verified technical issues on our side (see Section 4.4).
- Refunds may also be considered for billing errors (e.g., duplicate charge) or access not delivered due to our fault.
- Advertising and promotional packages (e.g., newsletter sponsorship, banner placements, paid perk listings) are non-refundable once an order is placed and are not covered by the 30 Day Money Back Guarantee. See Section 5.
- If you have an issue, contact us first - it's usually faster than a bank dispute.
1. What you are buying (information access, not credits)
Free AI Perks is an information service that provides subscribers with access to curated databases, links, and guides about perks, credits, and programs offered by third-party providers.
We do not provide, issue, resell, guarantee, or distribute credits. Third-party providers control eligibility, approvals/denials, amounts, and offer changes.
2. Why refunds are generally not available
When you subscribe, you receive immediate access to digital Content that can be viewed and used right away. Because of the instant delivery and consumable nature of digital information, the value is delivered upon access.
As a result, refunds are generally not available once access has been granted, except as described in Section 4 (Exceptional circumstances) or where required by law.
If we offer a one-time purchase (including an offer described as "lifetime" access), it is also a digital, instantly delivered product. One-time purchases do not auto-renew, and the same general non-refundability rules apply once access is provided - including weeks or months later - except as described in Section 4 or where required by law.
3. Not valid reasons for a refund (common dispute drivers)
Refunds are not provided for:
- misunderstanding the Service as "guaranteed credits" (we provide information only),
- not being approved by a third-party provider,
- an offer being changed, paused, removed, or no longer having an application form,
- eligibility issues (including verification failures) with a third-party provider,
- credit amounts being less than expected or usage restrictions by a third-party provider,
- not using the Service, forgetting to cancel, or missing a renewal date,
- dissatisfaction with the format/style where a preview was available,
- simply changing your mind after purchase (buyer's remorse).
See Section 5 for additional rules that apply to Advertising Packages.
4. Exceptional circumstances where we may refund
We may consider a refund (or other remedy) in these limited cases:
4.1 Access not delivered due to our fault
- You were charged but did not receive access due to a technical issue on our side, and we cannot resolve it promptly.
4.2 Billing errors
- Duplicate charge for the same period.
- Clearly incorrect charge caused by a processing error.
4.3 Unauthorized transactions
If you believe a payment was unauthorized, contact us immediately. We may ask for information to verify the situation and help you secure your account. (Your bank/card issuer may also have its own investigation process.)
4.4 30 Day Money Back Guarantee
We offer a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee under the following conditions:
Eligible for refund within 30 days:
- You were charged but our platform failed to deliver access to the Content due to a verified technical error on our side.
- A persistent platform malfunction prevented you from accessing or using the Service after purchase, and we were unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe.
- A billing system error resulted in an incorrect charge amount or unexpected charges.
NOT eligible under this guarantee:
- You purchased the Service and simply changed your mind or decided you no longer want it.
- You did not use the Service after purchasing it.
- A third-party provider denied your application, changed their program, or reduced credit amounts.
- You were not eligible for a third-party program.
- You disagree with the format, content, or presentation of the information provided.
- You purchased an Advertising Package (newsletter sponsorship, banner, paid perk listing, "Top Startups" placement, or bundle). Advertising Packages are governed by Section 5 and are not covered by this guarantee.
To claim under this guarantee, you must contact us within 30 days of your purchase date and describe the technical issue you experienced. We will investigate and, if the issue is verified as a fault on our side, issue a full refund to your original payment method.
5. Advertising and promotional packages
This section applies to paid advertising and promotional services purchased through https://getaiperks.com/en/advertising, including (without limitation) newsletter sponsorships, banner placements, paid perk listings, "Top Startups" or table feature placements, and bundled advertising packages ("Advertising Packages").
5.1 Non-refundable once ordered
When you place an order for an Advertising Package, we reserve an inventory slot, schedule placement work, and may begin production or delivery immediately. Because each placement represents a fixed, time-bound inventory unit that cannot be resold once reserved, all Advertising Package purchases are final and non-refundable once an order is placed, including in cases where:
- you decide not to proceed with the campaign after placing the order,
- your creative, copy, landing page, or product is not ready by the scheduled placement date,
- your campaign performs below your expectations (clicks, sign-ups, conversions, applications, revenue, or any other metric),
- end users of getaiperks.com or any third party do not respond to or engage with your placement,
- you change your mind about the offer, target audience, pricing, or product being advertised after placing the order,
- your product, company, or website changes, is paused, is sold, is rebranded, or is shut down after the order.
5.2 30 Day Money Back Guarantee does not apply
The 30 Day Money Back Guarantee described in Section 4.4 applies only to consumer subscriptions to the Service and does not apply to Advertising Packages under any circumstances.
5.3 Recurring Advertising Packages (cancellation of future renewals)
Some Advertising Packages are billed on a recurring basis (for example monthly placements). You may cancel future renewals at any time by emailing ads@getaiperks.com from the contact email on the order.
Cancellation stops future billing and future placements. It does not entitle you to a refund of any portion of the current paid billing period, and the placement for the current billing period will continue to run until the end of that period unless we choose otherwise at our sole discretion.
5.4 Service not delivered due to our fault
If we fail to publish or deliver a placement on a scheduled date due solely to our fault and cannot reschedule it within a reasonable timeframe, we will, at our sole discretion, either:
- reschedule the placement at no additional cost, or
- issue a credit for the affected placement against a future Advertising Package.
Cash refunds for Advertising Packages are issued only at our sole discretion and only where we determine that no reasonable alternative remedy is available.
5.5 Right of approval and removal
We reserve the right to refuse, reject, edit, pause, or remove any placement that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates our content guidelines, applicable law, third-party rights, or our editorial standards. Where we remove or refuse a placement that was previously accepted solely for editorial reasons unrelated to your conduct, we will, at our sole discretion, either reschedule or issue a credit under Section 5.4. Removals or refusals caused by violations of our content guidelines, applicable law, or material misrepresentation are non-refundable.
5.6 Business-to-business
Advertising Packages are sold for business purposes to companies and other commercial entities, not to consumers. Consumer-protection regimes that may apply to consumer subscriptions (including the EU/UK distance-selling rules referenced in Section 7) do not apply to Advertising Package orders to the extent excluded under applicable law.
6. How to request a refund review
This section applies to consumer subscriptions. For Advertising Packages, see Section 5.
To request review under Section 4:
- Email support@getaiperks.com
- Include the email on your account, the date/amount of the charge, and a short description of the issue
- We typically respond within 5-7 business days
If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method. Bank processing times vary.
Time limit: Requests under this Refund Policy should be submitted within 30 days of the charge. This internal time limit does not affect any mandatory statutory rights you may have.
7. EU/EEA and United Kingdom consumer information (withdrawal right)
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or the United Kingdom, you may have a statutory 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts.
However, where applicable to digital content or digital services delivered immediately, you expressly request and consent to immediate access/performance and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once access begins. We collect this consent and acknowledgement at checkout (for example, via a required checkbox).
Nothing in this policy limits mandatory statutory rights that cannot be waived.
8. Subscription renewals and cancellation (to avoid unwanted renewals)
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal.
You can cancel at any time:
- Self-serve via your account settings and/or the subscription management link provided in your purchase/renewal emails (Polar customer portal or Stripe billing portal), or
- Email fallback by emailing support@getaiperks.com from the email address on your account.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for unused time except where required by law or under Section 4.
Automatic renewal law disclosures
We disclose material subscription terms (including pricing, renewal frequency, that the Subscription will automatically renew unless canceled, and how to cancel) before purchase and in accordance with applicable automatic renewal laws, including the U.S. Restore Online Shoppers' Confidence Act (ROSCA) and California Business and Professions Code section 17600 et seq., where applicable.
9. Disputes / chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect (for example, duplicate charge or access not delivered), please contact support@getaiperks.com first (or ads@getaiperks.com for Advertising Packages). In many cases we can resolve issues faster than a bank dispute.
Bank/card disputes are handled by your bank/card issuer and are separate from this Refund Policy.
10. Changes to this Refund Policy and versioning
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
Version applicable to your purchase/renewal: The version of this Refund Policy in effect at the time you place an order or when your subscription renews governs that specific transaction. We maintain internal archives of prior versions.
